We are Ars Notoria, a metal band based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Our music encompasses a fusion of different genres and unconventional vocal experimentation with Greek lyrics. Greatly influenced by classic heavy and thrash metal of earlier decades, we amalgamate these with modern progressive and metalcore sounds to create our own unique sound character. Deeply esoteric and emotional, our lyrical content explores themes of internal and external conflict, personal reflection, and emotional struggle. We express our darkest, yet most vulnerable thoughts by emphasising greatly on a variety of vocal deliveries, sometimes with the directness of hip-hop/rap line and other times the complexity of a four-voice harmony.
