SCEViP is Stephanos Constandinou's ground-breaking solo project, revolving around an electric violin and a loop pedal. Inspired by the likes of Apocalyptica, Andrew Bird, and Fotis Siotas, SCEViP makes use of the most unconventional techniques to deliver mesmerising shows that defy expectations and showcase the true versatility of the violin.
Through the art of live-looping, SCEViP takes the audience on an unforgettable journey of sonic exploration. The different layers, seamlessly blending with each other, create a melodic tapestry spanning from ethereal atmospheric sounds to intricately woven dark soundscapes and occasionally culminating in powerful, heavy-hitting riffs. With this dynamic range, SCEViP invites listeners to traverse emotional landscapes, from contemplative tranquillity to the raw intensity of musical crescendos, making each performance a unique and immersive experience.
