The Sunryse Sound are a 4-piece band from Nicosia. Born out of friendships fostered in hazy basements and the occasionally peaceful Cypriot countryside. The band's auteur approach is highlighted by the varying points of view of each of its songwriters, resulting in music which pulsates with folk yearning calling on a down-to-earth life. Incorporating a strong emphasis on developing ideas in their songs and a raw, personal touch to their lyrics, The Sunryse Sound are primed to indulge any romantic sentimentality.
