Alexis Sunder’s sound is fresh and sunny, with sprinkles of retro. Sunder blends head-bobbing grooves and soulful melodies, incorporating influences from neo-soul, funk and disco to offer an easy-going and sunlit feeling of warm afterglow. Since the release of his eponymous debut EP in 2022, Sunder and his Cats have been a staple of the island’s music scene, delivering a high-energy set of soul, funk and pop-rock energies. The SunderCats include Andreas Epaminonda on lead guitar, Fragkiskos Petrides on drums, and Andreas Papageorgiou on bass.
