Being in the Cyprus music scene during the last few years, Della is beginning to bring her solo project to life with band members Alex (on guitar), Filios (on bass), and Ulaş (on drums). Her roots in the city of Sheffield and upbringing in the island of Cyprus lends into her music’s heavy-felt garage rock and indie sense.

Della’s songs come to life through raw, honest and, at times, self-deprecating lyrics, delivered by captivating, deep vocals with biting overtones. Her source of inspiration has always been surreptitious love or the absence of it and she’s found music to be a form of relief and comfort. The young musician’s upcoming debut album is a concept piece that follows her love interests from her first to most recent via chronological order, displaying the range of emotions but also change in perspective one undergoes when growing and exploring sexuality and romance. “Childhood is what shapes who we are with our partners, but who our partners are, is what shapes who we are with ourselves.”
