Feeding off the endless need to share inspiration, ideas and tunes, Citrus Blossom has been a cog in the never-ending machine that rock ‘n’ roll is. Cruising through high energy, groovy rock, Citrus Blossom assembles a set of songs while upkeeping the raw essence a quartet always pulls off. Their variety of influences has always contributed to a creative mixture of sounds; a setting of solid drums alongside a scent of traditional Greek music in their vocal and guitar delivery, with melodic bass lines infused with a funky-jazz aesthetic. With evolving improvisation and a pallet of anti-militarist and sociopolitical lyrics addressing the world’s inequalities, the struggle of immigration and the horrors of war, the five tracks on the “Eyes Filled With Apathy” EP demonstrate Citrus Blossom as a young and hungry band, ready to take on the world and spread their message to as many minds and hearts as possible with an uncompromised and soulful, melodic edge.
