A BUZZ set is like speeding with the windows down. No emotion less vivid could be expected by a band which is the creative culmination of five rowdy teens, pouring their teenage years into their sound. The drums are ear-splitting and uncompromisingly punk; the guitars roar in overdriven solos while the bass growls in songs like "O Drakos". In the midst of the chaos, almost like changing gears, the shift towards the psychedelic palette of the keyboards and soothing song give rise to the vulnerabilities and curiosities imagined in the group's sound. Sooner than later, the marriage of these sounds transport the listener in the passenger seat of a car from their own youth, with the wind in their face and BUZZ's sound being the soundtrack to their past or present.
