Kalesma

Κalesma is a newly established six-member vocal ensemble that focuses on vocal performance and research of Cypriot and Greek folk/traditional music as well as original compositions, aiming at bridging local traditions close to contemporary creation. An important role in the music that Κalesma focuses on are the references to Cypriot poetry. It consists of the following musicians: Vassilis Philippou, Savvas Lagou, Paris Paraschos, Freideriki Tombazou, Katerina Paraschou and Anastasia Zakinthinou.
