Rafaella Mespilo was born on a sunny island but lives in a fairytale. She’s been writing poems and lyrics in forgotten papers and books since she was a kid. Later, she set sail to the Netherlands to absorb a whole new world of musical workings and beings, and after many inner fights to find her path, she found solace in writing music; songwriting feels like home. Based in Utrecht, she’s working on her debut EP, “100 Faces” with her band, Mespilo to be released in Spring 2022. She aims to offer something special within the indie-pop affinity. “100 Faces” ponders on all the personalities we hide inside us; and aims to make people feel, dance, explore and express every hidden self they have.
