Based in Cyprus, ΣaiΣ is a newly formed project inspired by Cypriot culture and tradition, and experimenting with the folk songs of Cyprus. ΣaiΣ combines a dynamic and electrifying rock sense with the powerful poetic nature and specificity of the Cypriot dialect. The brainchild of Savvas Chyrsostomou during his years abroad in the UK, ΣaiΣ released its debut album ‘En Mes Stin Psishin’ (“Inside Our Soul”) in 2021 and has been performing its songs throughout the island. With an updated band lineup and fresh sound, ΣaiΣ are delving deeper into their experiments with technology and electronic sounds.
