Christos Yerolatsitis is a Cyprus-based keyboardist and composer. His music can be characterised as diverse and flexible to lead into different directions. “SONICA” is the title of his debut album and the name of his newly formed band. The group combines vocabulary from nu jazz, ambient, electronica, and funk. It features Stelios Xydias on drums, Andreas Rodosthenous on bass and electronics, and Andreas Panteli and Christos Yerolatsitis on keyboards. Analog synthesizers, sub-bass frequencies, and intense rhythms are what define SONICA’s sound.
