Aparapira Parape move in a way that’s hard to pin down. There’s a bit of mischief in how they work. Onstage, offstage, and sometimes in between, their presence is loud, physical, and hard to ignore, without ever feeling forced. Their sets cut through club music and whatever sits around it, jumping between ideas without over-explaining why. What comes out is direct, slightly off-centre, and always in motion. They’re on the lineup this summer. It tends to get a bit out of hand.
