MILA RE SOL! The development of musicality and musical pedagogy through singing

This workshop aims at developing the philosophical thinking of the educator and the alignment of music education with musical performance. Through these sessions we will approach the teaching method of Z. Kodaly (solfege), we will examine how the human body responds musically through movement and spontaneity and we will enjoy musical games and activities. Moreover, participants will be given the chance to apply what they are taught by allowing them to lead the group themselves. Lastly, we will explore our voice by singing musical canons and songs from various eras and various parts of the world (choir).
This workshop is addressed to music teachers of primary and secondary education, music educators, music students, choir instructors and to anyone interested in choral singing and the benefits of music education.

ΜΙΛΑ ΡΕ ΣΟΛ! Η καλλιέργεια της μουσικότητας και της μουσικής παιδαγωγικής μέσα από το τραγούδι
“Αν τολμούσα να περιγράψω την διαδικασία στο μυαλό του μουσικού εν ώρα εκτέλεσης, θα χρησιμοποιούσα τους όρους συγκέντρωση προσοχής, εσωτερική αντίληψη, ακοή, φαντασία και επικοινωνία. Τραγουδώντας σε μια ομάδα μπορούμε άμεσα να βιώσουμε τη μουσική και να αναπτύξουμε αυτές ακριβώς τις δεξιότητες του μουσικού.”
Το εργαστήρι στοχεύει στην εξέλιξη της φιλοσοφικής σκέψης του παιδαγωγού και στη σύνδεση της μουσικής παιδαγωγικής με τη μουσική εκτέλεση. Μέσω των μαθημάτων θα προσεγγίσουμε τη μεθοδολογία διδασκαλίας του Z. Kodaly (σολφέζ), θα εξετάσουμε πόσο μουσικά αντιδρά το ανθρώπινο σώμα μέσω της κίνησης και του αυθορμητισμού και θα απολαύσουμε μουσικά παιχνίδια και δραστηριότητες. Επιπλέον, θα δοθεί η ευκαιρία στους συμμετέχοντες να εφαρμόσουν αυτά που διδάσκονται διευθύνοντας οι ίδιοι την ομάδα. Τέλος, στόχος είναι η εξερεύνηση της φωνής, τραγουδώντας κανόνες και κομμάτια από διάφορες εποχές και διάφορα μέρη του κόσμου (χορωδία).
Το εργαστήρι απευθύνεται σε δασκάλους μουσικής πρωτοβάθμιας και δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης, σε μουσικοπαιδαγωγούς, φοιτητές μουσικής, μαέστρους χορωδιών και σε όλους όσους ενδιαφέρονται για το χορωδιακό τραγούδι και τα οφέλη της μουσικής παιδαγωγικής.
Bio:
Irakleous is a Berlin-based artist and classical concert pianist, performing in concert halls in Germany including the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Kammersaal der Philharmonie. In addition to being a music educator and conducting the Berlin State Choir for girls, Irakleous recently released her debut album 'Rise Love' which was met with positive reviews.
