Julio, is a Cypriot rapper and Beat Maker from Limassol. He writes his lyrics exclusively in the Cypriot dialect. His lyrics are straightforward and fiery, usually of social and political content, as well as personal experiences. He is a founding member of Barco Pirata Collective, a collective of various artists, created in June 2017. In 2014 he released his first album titled "Wake up and listen" with his own lyrics and production. Then followed his second album "The Mistake" in Smilin's music productions. By the end of 2015, he released the "Of Life and Death", produced by himself, which was his most personal project so far. In 2017 he released "The Black Songs" in collaboration with Smilin again.
