Junkey Moneywise is a piano trio based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Since 2017 they have been exploring multiple aspects of modern music with emphasis in improvisation, interaction, polyrhythms and their impact in the overall composition. The intense polyrhythms combined with long melodic lines and the highly energetic stage presence is what defines them. Their debut album will be recorded in 2019. The band are Vasilis Vourvopoulos on piano and keys, Mark Ioannou on drums and Marinos Kassinos on bass.
