The classical guitarist Kostas Makrygiannakis will be performing his Louvana Records (2018) released debut album 'Fragments'. The album includes, as its title suggests, short or longer works, all performed on a classical guitar and divided into three sections. These are compositions by Kostas Makrygiannakis, as well as reworks of pieces by composer François Couperin, all of which constitute a soundtrack - mosaic of narrative character, with clear references to pop music, as well as others from musical choreographies for which the musician composed music for. In 'Fragments', the listener can experience sounds that seem familiar to him or her. Τhe composer performs works that wink to Couperin, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, that sink into the intense pulse of the African-American tradition and have conversations with dancers as part of a performance show.
