Rhythmic and melodic patterns, sound colours, groovy riffs. Carefully chosen or random ideas crossing the musician’ s mind. Sometimes they create masterpieces and sometimes they are lost forever or are left unused.
Everyday at Fengaros Music Village, for at least two hours, we will be creating modular compositions based on these ideas. In the time between the workshops Kostas Makrygiannakis will be coaching small or larger groups with the aim to create one or more group compositions, which will lead to a performance opening Fengaros Festival 2019. Any instrument, your voice/sound, means of expression will be mostly welcome!

Ρυθμικά και μελωδικά μοτίβα, ηχοχρώματα, προσεκτικά επιλεγμένες ή τυχαίες μουσικές ιδέες. Πράγματα που περνούν συνεχώς από το το μυαλό ενός μουσικού. Άλλες φορές χάνονται κι άλλες φορές δημιουργούν αριστουργήματα.
Στο Μουσικό Χωριό Φέγγαρος, κάθε μέρα για δύο τουλάχιστον ώρες, θα δημιουργούμε σπονδυλωτές συνθέσεις με αφορμή και αιτία τις δικές σας ιδέες. Μεταξύ των εργαστηρίων που θα επιλέξετε, ο Κώστας Μακρυγιαννάκης, θα συντονίζει μικρά ή μεγαλύτερα σύνολα με στόχο τη δημιουργία μιας ή περισσότερων ομαδικών συνθέσεων. Όλα τα όργανα, οι φωνές, καθώς και οποιοδήποτε δημιουργικό μέσο επιθυμείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε, είναι καλοδεχούμενο.
Το αποτέλεσμα αυτής της πολύ δημιουργικής κι ευχάριστης εργασίας, θα ανοίξει συναυλιακά το φεστιβάλ Φέγγαρος 2019.
Bio:
Makrygiannakis has been performing in venues and festivals across Europe for over 20 years. His interests include chamber music, new music for guitar, historically-based performance as well as pop music, conceptual music and composition, while his collaborations include many distinguished musicians, dancers and actors. Makrygiannakis is the artistic director of the Municipal Conservatoire of Thessaloniki and founding member/artistic director of Music Village International Arts Community. He has recently released his first album featuring his solo guitar music.
