MARINA SATTI & FONέS (GR)
Friday, August 2nd / Fengaros 2019
Marina Satti, a young singer and songwriter, who having released her singles “Koupes”, “Nifada”, and “Mantissa”, and counts millions of views on YouTube, presents her new multicultural music show: YALLA! 2.0, which in Arabic means “Let’s go!”. Supported by her collaborators, she introduces us to a unique and alternative music spectacle, that is deeply influenced by Greek, Balkan, Arabic and Middle-Eastern sounds and incorporated into a more modern and urban music context. With racism and xenophobia currently being transformed into a conscious behaviour which oftentimes leads to provocative actions, Satti declares her presence by creating a music show that includes elements which construct her artistic identity and clearly present her social stance concerning concepts such as equality, pride, and anti-racism. YALLA! 2.0 has an alternative, pop and urban mood with an ultimate goal of eliminating social and geographical distances by creating many strong feelings and giving voice to everyone’s right for freedom. Performing on stage are Marina Satti and Fonέs. Three different choreographers have designed their dance moves and consequently, different dance styles and movement qualities, stripped of any guilt, coexist in the show to create a harmonic framework, as well as highlight the pluralistic approach ofYALLA! 2.0.
