“Nabuma” is an original soul / alternative R&B band, formed in 2018. They are currently composing their own material. Their line up consists of lead singer Nicole Ardanitou, bass guitarist and backing singer Andreas Matheou, pianist Nicolas Melis, electric guitarist Orestis Savva and drummer Kris Grecian. Their inspiration and influences derive from soul, neo soul, alternative rock and R&B music, admiring artists such as Lianne La Havas, Jordan Rakei, Moonchild, Jorja Smith, Jose James, Radiohead, Massive Attack and Portishead. What is pretty interesting and peculiar about Nabuma is each member’s different music background, as all of them perform and inspire from contrasting music genres. However they all have a thing about soul and groove.
